Hot Mat Yoga brings together the timeless practice of Yoga with the soothing benefits of infrared heat. In our purpose-built studio, warmed to approximately 34°C, you'll move through flowing sequences that open the body, quiet the mind, and leave you feeling deeply restored.
The gentle warmth encourages your muscles and connective tissues to soften, allowing you to explore each posture with greater ease and depth. Whether you're seeking flexibility, mental clarity, or simply an hour of calm in your week, this class offers something truly special.
Note: Hot Mat Yoga is not recommended for pregnant clients.

The infrared heat gently warms your muscles and connective tissues from within, helping them lengthen naturally so you can settle deeper into every pose.
By connecting breath to movement in a warm, nurturing space, you'll find a deeper sense of presence and mental peace that stays with you long after class.
Infrared heat promotes a thorough, cleansing sweat that supports your body's natural ability to release toxins, leaving you feeling lighter and refreshed.
The calming combination of gentle heat, slow stretching, and focused breathing helps regulate your nervous system, promoting deeper, more restful sleep.
Start hydrating well before class and bring a large water bottle with you. Sipping water throughout the session will help you feel your best in the warmth.
A towel to lay over your mat is a must in our heated studio. It keeps your practice comfortable and gives you better grip as you flow through poses.
Honour where you are today. Rest in child's pose whenever you need to, and know that your instructor is always there to offer modifications and support.
Not at all! Our Hot Mat Yoga classes welcome all levels, from complete beginners to experienced yogis. Your instructor will offer modifications and variations so you can practise at your own pace. The infrared warmth actually helps newcomers feel more comfortable in each pose.
Our purpose-built studio is heated to approximately 34°C using infrared heating panels. Unlike traditional forced-air hot yoga studios, infrared heat warms your body directly, creating a gentle and soothing warmth rather than a stifling environment.
Bring a water bottle and a towel — you will perspire! Wear comfortable, breathable activewear. We provide mats and all necessary props. Feel free to bring your own mat and towel if you prefer.
Hot Mat Yoga is not recommended for pregnant clients due to the elevated studio temperature. We recommend speaking with your healthcare provider and exploring our other class options that may be more suitable.
The key difference is the infrared-heated environment. The gentle warmth allows your muscles and connective tissues to soften more quickly, enabling deeper stretches and greater flexibility. Many students also find the heat enhances relaxation and promotes a deeper sense of calm throughout the practice.
